BRAMPTON, Ont. - The Western Mustangs cheerleading dynasty continued its dominance in Canada, winning its 24th national title in 25 years on Dec. 5-6 at the Powerade Centre in Brampton, Ont.
"To put it in perspective, a solid win would be to have a 10 or 20 point lead over another team," said coach David-Lee Tracey. "We ended up 113 points ahead of second-place Queen's."
Western posted the highest score overall at the event and competes at the highest level of competition, the elite L-6 Collegiate Large Co-ed Division.
