ATLANTA, Ga. - The Western Mustangs on their four Cheersport National Championship in a row defeating many top-level U.S. programs in the process.

Western the title in the Collegiate Coed Division. Here are the standings:

This is the second North American event the Mustags have won in 2009.

On Jan 31, Western won a small event in Novi, Michigan.

Western was expecting a showdown with the University of Michigan, but the Wolverines did not compete as they "dropped out," according to coach David-Lee Tracey. He said they ran an "exhibition" performance instead, and as a result Western was untouched in the competition.

The Great Lakes Championship Company, which ran the event in Novi, , keeps track of all of the high scores at every one of their events throughout the year.  At the conclusion of the Jan. 31 event, Western was the highest scoring team by about 20 points, Tracey said, over the next closest squad.
