LONDON, Ont. – The OUA All-Stars team will be playing a pre competition game against Canada’s Under 19 team. Western is honoured to support Ellie Seedhouse playing in her first OUA All-Stars games taking place at the Mastercard Centre for Hockey Excellence in Toronto Mar. 23.

Seedhouse is a veteran forward of the Western Mustangs. She has had an outstanding season leading the Mustangs in scoring with 15 goals and 17 assists. The Whitby native ended her season sitting third in the OUA with 32 points.

“I am really excited to play with girls we play against all season,” exclaimed Seedhouse, “[But] I am also nervous to play against Canada’s Under 18 team.”

Seedhouse will be reunited with two former teammates from her high school hockey days.  Grade 11 and 12 teammate Katherine Shirriff of the OUA champions, Wilfrid Laurier, will play alongside Seedhouse on the All-Stars team. Shirriff is second in team scoring for Laurier with 24 points.

 Other former teammate, and also a forward, Kelly Terry, will be playing for Team Canada.
