Tenth-place finish at nationals

June 3: Western's men's golf team placed 10th at Golf Canada University-College Nationals

FREDERICTON, N.B. - Western's men's golf team placed 10th at the 2010 Canadian University/College Championship conducted by Golf Canada at Kingswood Park May 30 - June 3.

Western's four-man team shot a total of 902 finishing 35 strokes behind the Laval Rouge et Or which won their first national title on the men's side with a total team score of 867.

Meanwhile UBC returned to their winning ways earning their seventh women's title in eight years.

Andrew Zanatta (London, Ont.) and Johnny Hall (Langton, Ont.) were the top Mustangs finisher placing in a tie for 21st place at six-over-par.
