The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced on Thursday that they have signed Western Mustangs defensive back
Harold Mutobola to a free agent contract. Mutobola spent the past five seasons with the Mustangs and had a breakout 2012 season, highlighted by his seven tackle and one interception performance against the Windsor Lancers on September 22.
Mutobola finished the 2012 season with 21 tackles, one interception, and six pass breakups, while also being named a first-team OUA all-star. In his five seasons as a Mustang, he compiled 39 defensive tackles, one interception and eight pass break ups.
Prior to coming to Western Mutobola attended high school at East York C.I. in Toronto and was a basketball MVP and offensive player of the year in football. Mutobola enrolled at Western in 2007 and majored in engineering.
