The Department of Sports and Recreation Services offer a number of media relations services to all levels of media.

Services include:
- sports information requests
- arranging interviews with student-athletes, coaches, staff
- providing head shots of athletes
- arranging photo shoots
- arranging one-on-one, in person interviews
- weekly press releases
- co-ordinating athlete and/or coach appearances at events
- distribution athletes of the week and teams of the month
- updating the web site, correcting information on web site
- web site, live statistics and streaming support
- co-ordinating video retrieval and archive requests with the library
- historical queries
- publication queries
- training, recruiting co-op students (college, high school, general volunteers)

Accreditation for games is requested 48 hours in advance for football games and all playoff games to guarantee a seat. Alumni Hall, Thompson Arena and TD Waterhouse Stadium all have wireless internet access.
