I’m excited and proud to once again lead an outstanding group of student-athletes, who are driven to achieve in both softball and in their studies. I am also grateful for the role you play in supporting their ongoing success.  Very simply, we could not operate as we do without you!

Last year, we had a terrific season. We defended our provincial title successfully, capturing the gold medal in extra innings. The victory marked our third consecutive undefeated season and our fifth Ontario title in the past seven seasons.  In addition, we captured our second consecutive National title.  In the upcoming season, our goal is to keep improving so we can be competitive again for both championships and to strive for Academic All-Canadian status (80% academic standing). 
 
Your gift directly impacts our student-athletes and will go to work immediately, providing the essential resources for us to support the ongoing financial needs associated with advanced training and competition.

Recognition Opportunities:
We are honoured to recognize the important role our donors play in helping Western recruit the best and brightest student-athletes to the wrestling program. Every contribution will enable the wrestling team to remain competitive on a provincial, national and international level. Our dedicated wrestling supporters will receive the following:

  • Naming on the Western Mustangs website
  • Invitations to special events
  • Advance notice of important sporting events and standings
  • Correspondence with student-athletes, updates from coaches and other special communications

    Donors of annual gifts of $1,000 or more are recognized through our Leaders’ Circles. Special benefits include invitations to events throughout the year and recognition on Western’s donor board in Alumni Hall.
