2025 Track & Field Tryout Information

All prospective athletes whishing to tryout for a varsity team must contact the coach before coming to tryouts and must complete the following steps prior to being eligible to start the tryout process:

Step 1: Connect with the Head Coach by email – and give them your full name and email
  • First year athletes include information about yourself ie. Events competed in, personal best times, # of year's experience, team last played for etc. 
Step 2: Complete Medical Requirements - Medical Information

To be eligible for Intercollegiate Sports, individuals must have a minimum of 3 full or equivalent courses. Graduate and transfer students, with some exceptions, are eligible for most sports. Students should check with the coach of their sport for specific requirements related to eligibility

An Information Meeting for all those not previously on the track and field team who wish to tryout will be held on Tues. Sept. 9th at 3:30-4:30pm at Alumni Stadium.

Tryouts for those not on the team previously will take place the following week September 16,17,18 from 3:30-5:30 pm, all at Alumni Stadium. Some cuts will be made at the end of that week.

Those that make the first cuts must achieve event standards and be within the event group quota by Sat. Nov. 29 in order to stay with the team.  Those involved in fall sports should email the head coach with their intentions to tryout for the team immediately after the completion of their fall sport.
