Neil Tai-Pow

Neil Tai-Pow joined the coaching staff of the Western Mustangs badminton team with years of experience both as a coach and a player. He has spent previous seasons coaching with the Granite Club in Toronto, acting as an assistant coach specializing in fitness and conditioning training for provincial and national level team members.

Tai-Pow has been a varsity athlete with the Western Mustangs badminton team since 2011, winning OUA championships in both 2012 and 2014. He has competed at a national level since 2007, and represented Team Canada at the 2009 and 2010 Junior Pan American Badminton Championships where he earned bronze medals in the U17 mixed doubles and U19 men’s doubles, respectively. In 2011 he won a gold medal at OFSAA in the mixed doubles event.
