Western Mustangs Sports

The senior infielder from Burlington, Ont. helped lead the Mustangs Women’s Softball team to the National Softball Championship this past weekend in Windsor. Hewins batted .643 with 3 home runs and 9 RBI and was named top batter of the tournament. The Mustangs won all 5 of their games at the tournament by a combined 41-1 score, defeating the University of Calgary in the final 6-0, where Hewins was the key contributor, hitting a 3 run home run.
