The second year Kinesiology student from London, Ont. won a bronze medal for Canada this past weekend in Guadalajara Mexico at the 2011 PanAm Games. Takahashi lost to Obe Blanc (USA) 0-2, 0-6, in two straight rounds and settled for the bronze in the 55 kg weight class in Men’s Freestyle. Steven had previously defeated Chile’s, Andre Renato Quispe, 1-1 and 4-1.
