May, a second-year Social Sciences student, was the top scorer for the Mustangs' men's volleyball team over the weekend, tallying a total of 32 points in a pair of matches. Western lost for the first time this year (a close 3-2 contest to Waterloo on Saturday, Jan. 14), but it wasn't for a lack of effort, and May led the way with 20 points and a game-high 20 kills while also managing 10 digs. In a 3-0 sweep of Guelph on Friday night (Jan. 13), the Scarborough, Ont. native had nine kills and finished with 12 points.
On the season, the second-year left side currently ranks fourth in the OUA in kills (149), third in kills per game (3.31), seventh in points (164.5) and seventh in points per game (3.64).
