Nell, a fifth-year Graduate student, dominated in the pool at the OUA Championships last weekend, capturing five medals en route to leading the Western Mustang women to their fourth straight OUA title. Nell won individual gold medals in the 50m and 100m events, as well as golds in the 200m and 400m freestyle relay events. Her fifth medal was a silver in the 200m freestyle.

Nell also reclaimed her record in the 50m freestyle event in dramatic fashion after McMaster’s Sarah Taylor had broken it during the preliminary round. Just hours later, Nell took it back with a time of 25.66 seconds in the final.
