Rolph, a second-year Health Sciences student, sent the Western Mustangs women’s hockey team into the second round of the OUA playoffs and into a frenzied celebration when she scored a power play goal 3:33 into overtime against Toronto on Saturday (Feb. 18) to give the Western women a two-game sweep in their OUA Quarter-Final series against the Varsity Blues. No. 6-seeded Western will now face York in a Semi-Final series starting this Thursday at York.

Rolph also scored the first goal of Western’s series against Toronto when she beat Blues goaltender Nicole Kesteris on the power play (one of six power play goals for Western in the series) just over one minute into Game 1 last Wednesday (Feb. 15). The forward also added an assist in that contest, which the Mustangs won 4-1.
