Giuffre, a third-year Kinesiology student, helped lift the Western Mustangs to their second straight OUA Badminton title and fourth championship in the last five years over the weekend. The Calgary, Alta. native was named male most valuable player after earning a pair of gold medals. Giuffre came back to defeat Waterloo’s Nathan Lee, 11-21, 21-16, 21-8, to win the men's singles title. He also teamed with Ross Golding to capture gold in the men's doubles event, as the pair beat Waterloo's Lee and Andrew Tai Pow, 22-20, 17-21, 21-15.
