Cox, a second year criminology and sociology student from London, continued her phenomenal play this season, picking up two wins against Guelph and Toronto, both of which were two hitters. She has a perfect 6-0 pitching record this year, including throwing a no-hitter, and hasn’t allowed an earned run all season. Cox is also strong at the plate, hitting .522, second on the team, and scored 14 runs along with averaging 1.4 RBI per game.
“Stacie is a competitor who regular plays well and can be counted on to perform at her highest level when the team needs her most and this weekend was no exception,” said head coach Pete Lemon.
