MacKay, a fourth-year Kinesiology student, was named Tournament MVP at the Ontario Intercollegiate Women’s Softball Association championship this weekend helping the Mustangs win their third consecutive OIWSA Championship. The Embro, Ontario native was outstanding at the plate, going 8-16 with 12 RBIs and six runs scored. She was also impressive in the field, making several excellent plays and finishing with no errors for a perfect fielding percentage.

 “Tricia is a senior, a Captain, and a huge leader of this team.  She is always positive and works very hard all the time.  Very simply, she is a quality individual.  Clearly, she is a very strong player on both sides of the ball but her big bat stands out on a team of quality hitters,” said Mustangs head coach Peter Lemon.
