Western Mustangs women's lacrosse attacker Lindsay Doxtator (Southwold, Ont.) finished the weekend with 15 points, guiding Western to a 2-1 record and helping the Mustangs to snap Laurier's 26-game unbeaten streak.
Doxtator finished the three-game homestand with 9 goals and 6 assists, despite often facing double-team situations from opposing defences.
The senior forward, who played with the Haudenosaunee Iroquois national team in the 2009 ILF Women's World Cup in Prague, Czech Republic, over the summer, started with a two-goal, two-assist performance in a 9-6 win against Laurier on Sept. 19.
On Sept. 20, Doxtator had 3 goals and 1 assist in a 12-11 loss to Toronto, scoring the game-tying goal.
The Health Sciences major finished the day with 4 goals and 3 helpers in a 13-2 win over McMaster, assisting on the game-winning goal and adding the insurance marker.
