MALE: Nathan Riva, Men's Football (Running Back, Second Year, King's College - Criminology, LaSalle, Ont.)
Sophomore running back Nathan Riva tied a Western Mustangs record with a five-touchdown performance in a 60-7 win over Windsor on Sept. 19.
Riva had a personal best day with the scoring performance, and added 131 yards on 14 carries and 94 yards on four catches.
Four touchdowns came on rushing attempts and the other came off a Michael Faulds pass.
He is among the nation's leaders in rushing, all-purpose yards, scoring and receiving.
Riva (Lasalle, Ont.) scored the game's first points taking a Faulds pass and dashing it in, eluding a couple of sideline tackles just four minutes into the contest.
He had two other highlight-reel plays including a great run to complete a 52-yard pass from Faulds and a 72-yard touchdown run, finished off with the criminology student cutting back and turning on the jets to breakaway from pursuing Lancers defenders.
