Vaughan, a fourth-year Kinesiology student, helped the Mustangs defeat the Guelph Gryphons on the road Thursday night before returning to Alumni Hall and facing the Brock Badgers in a losing effort in Western’s annual Shoot for the Cure game. The game goes towards raising money and awareness for breast cancer research, and is part of a nationwide initiative that has raised $512,394.58 since its inception in 2007. Vaughan led the Mustangs in scoring for both contests, racking up 19 points in each game, while also adding four rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
