Thomson, a fourth year Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS) student, won two medals at the CIS Track & Field Championships in Edmonton this past weekend, helping the Mustangs women’s team to a fourth place finish. The De Winton, Alberta, native won bronze in the 300m and was part of the silver medal winning 4x200m relay team, and also finished fourth in the 60m dash, setting Western records in all three events.
“Brenna capped off an outstanding season with results that put her in the Western record books in all 4 sprint events. She has established herself as Western’s all-time best female sprinter,” said head coach Vickie Croley.
