Barry, a fifth-year Social Sciences student, won her first ever CIS gold medal on Saturday, winning the 55kg weight class and helping the Mustangs women’s wrestling team to a third place finish at the CIS Wrestling Championships. From London, Barry was also recognized as the CIS Most Outstanding Female Wrestler after also taking the same honour at the OUA Championships on February 16. The five-time OUA champion ends her CIS championship career with four national medals, including one gold and three silver.
