Alec Bauer, a third-year Social Sciences student from Belleville, Ont., won gold in the 76kg weight class at the OUA Championships this past Saturday, helping Western’s men’s team to a third place finish in the overall team competition. It’s the second consecutive year that Bauer has medalled at the OUA Championships as he also won silver at 76kg at last year’s event.
