Gamal Assaad, a second-year Mechanical Engineering student from Oakville, Ont., won a silver medal in the 100m butterfly at the 2015 Speedo CIS Swimming Championships this past weekend in Victoria. Assaad helped the Mustangs men's team to a fifth place finish in the overall team standings, while also posting two other top eight finishes with the 4x100m medley relay and 4x200m freestyle relay teams.
