Brett Ellerman, a King’s College student from Calgary, helped Western to a 78-6 win over the Windsor Lancers to kick-off the 2016 OUA football season. Ellerman twice found the end zone in his CIS debut, scoring on 38- and 75-yard touchdown passes from Chris Merchant. Overall, Ellerman hauled in three passes for 125 yards to lead all Western receivers in the win.
