Kristina Popadich, a Business student from Toronto, claimed fourth place at the Western International on Saturday, leading the Mustangs women’s team to a third place finish overall. Popadich finished the 5km course in 17:12, establishing a new Western record for both the meet and all events held at the Thames Valley course. Her time breaks the previous record of 17:15, set by Sandra Anschuetz in 1987.
