Rachael Jacques, a Brescia College student from Barrie, Ont., was once again outstanding for the purple and white, helping the Mustangs to a silver medal at the CCSA National Championship in Saskatoon. Jacques went 4-1 at the event, allowing no earned runs, while striking out 45 batters and allowing only seven hits and three walks. She also threw a no-hitter in Western’s semi-final win over Fanshawe, coming within one batter of tossing a perfect game.
