Besseghieur, a Social Sciences student from Nanaimo, BC, helped Western take down York 66-3 in the Mustangs season opener on Sunday afternoon. Besseghieur led all players with 179 yards receiving on six catches, including scoring the first touchdown of his OUA career on a 75-yard reception in the third quarter.
