Alyssa Chiarello, a Brescia College student from Kitchener, Ont., helped Western sweep their opening round playoff series against the Toronto Varsity Blues in two games last week. Chiarello scored one goal and set up the overtime winner on Wednesday night before scoring twice and picking up another assist in the Mustangs 4-2 win on Friday night in game two.
