Outside hitter Elaine Screaton helped her Western Mustangs to a perfect 2-0 record with wins over Guelph in five sets on Jan. 30 and Windsor in straight sets on Jan. 29. She finished the weekend with 22 points on 18 kills, three aces, a solo block and 30 digs. Screaton only played in one of the three games against Windsor, registering five points with four kills and one ace, along with five digs in limited action. A day later, Screaton was the major force in Western's five-set win over Guelph. She finished with 17 points on 14 kills and two aces, adding a solo block and 25 digs.
