Sophomore guard Jenny Vaughan, a former junior national team player and transfer from NCAA Denver, scored 36 points in her first weekend of OUA regular-season play to help the No. 4 Western Mustangs to a pair of victories. The starting guard also recorded a total of five rebounds, two steals, four assists and a block in the two games. Vaughan led the Mustangs with 31 points, two steals, two assists and three rebounds in an 84-54 win over Laurentian on Friday night. She played a strong defensive game as the Mustangs limited the York Lions to just 19 second-half points in a 64-41 victory, adding five points, two rebounds, two assists and a block.
