GUELPH, Ont. - Keaton Turkiewicz (Brantford, Ont.) scored the game-tying goal in the second period and added the game-winner in the third to lift the Western Mustangs to its first win of the season, 4-3 over the Guelph Gryphons.

Chris Corbeil (Oakville, Ont.) and Geoff Killing (Embro, Ont.) also scored for the Mustangs. 

Keyvan Hunt (Port Coquitlam, B.C.) got the start in net for Western but struggled, allowing three goals on six shots. Rookie netminder Anthony Grieco (Brampton, Ont.) came in to replace him and made 36 saves for the win.

Western (2-1) hosts its second home game of the season when they face the York Lions on Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Thompson Arena.
