THUNDER BAY, Ont. - Goaltender Keyvan Hunt (Coquitlam, B.C.) turned aside 38 shots as the Mustangs fell 4-0 to the Lakehead Thunderwolves on Jan. 29.

Thunderwolves goals were scored by Pierre-Marc Guilbault, Andy Hyvarinen, Matt Caria and Ryan McDonald. 

The Mustangs played host to Lakehead on Jan. 8 and 9 and won both games 7-2 and 8-3. Tonight, Lakehead avenged their losses and held Western scoreless in the first game of another back-to-back series.

Western received seven infractions and Lakehead was called for four, however the Mustangs could not capitalize on the man advantage and went 0/3 on powerplay opportunities.

The second game of the back-to-back series will be played Jan. 30 at Fort William Gardens at 7:30 p.m.
