The Western Mustangs improved to 2-3 on the season after a dominating 4-1 victory over the York Lions on Sunday night.

Olivia Ross getting the win in net and making 33 saves.
On Saturday at Toronto, the Varsity Blues edged Western 3-2. Rookie
Marianne Filson scored to give Western the lead midway through the first period, but Toronto scored three unanswered, including two on special teams, and held on for the 3-2 win.
Sydney Kidd scored in the closing seconds on the powerplay.
