Aaron Snow scored the shootout's only goal while goaltender
Josh Unice made 32 saves along with all shootout attempts to give the Mustangs a 3-2 victory over the Brock Badgers in a Wednesday night game played in St. Catharines, Ont.
The game did not start out according to plan as Brock jumped off to an early 2-0 lead with a power play and shorthanded goal.

Adam McKee narrowed the gap late in the first period with a terrific shot on a two-on-one rush up ice after recieving the puck from
Chris Rocca.
After some outstanding saves from Brock goaltender Kurt Jory, Snow scored a second period power play goal to pull the Mustangs into a tie. The tie would stand up for the remainder of the game including overtime.
After misses by the first two shooters by both Western and Brock, Snow made a nifty move through the legs of Jory to give the shootout advantage to the Mustangs with one Brock shooter left.
Unice made an outstanding glove hand save on the final Brock shooter to finalize the Western victory.
The Mustangs next game is Friday night at Thompson Arena against the Waterloo Warriors at 7:30 p.m.
