LONDON, Ont. - The Western Mustangs men's volleyball team will look continue their dominating play as they host Ryerson and York this weekend at Alumni Hall. The Mustangs will face Ryerson on Friday, Nov. 5, and York on Saturday, Nov. 6. Both games will begin at 7 p.m.
The Mustangs are off to a hot start in OUA regular season play currently sporting a 3-0 record and are nationally at No. 6.
Ryerson is 2-1 in league action so far, and York is winless at 0-3. Last season the Mustangs swept both teams as they won both match-ups against Ryerson 3-0 and beat the York Lions 3-2 and 3-0.
Western sports a number of players among league leaders with
Mathieu Poulin of Winnipeg second in the OUA with 4.57 points per game.
Andre Begin of Ottawa currently ranks sixth in assists, and
Reid Halpenny (Exeter, Ont.) and
Patrick Johnston (Whitby, Ont.) first and second after three matches with over four digs per game.
