TORONTO - The Western Mustangs men's volleyball team showed no signs of slowing down in 2011 sweeping Ryerson and York 3-0 on Jan. 7 and 8.
The Mustangs made short work of Ryerson 3-0 on Friday night winning 27-25, 25-15 and 25-23.
Mathieu Poulin had 12 kills and two aces in the win. Sean McKay had three solo blocks and two aces as he set up the Mustangs attack with 29 assists.
They were back on the road Saturday afternoon downing York in straight sets by 25-19, 25-16 and 25-23.
The Mustangs are now 12-0 on the season in OUA play. They continue their current road trip next weekend as they face Guelph and McMaster on Jan. 14 and 15. Both games are scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
