Mustangs to honour Seedhouse, Seniors in final homestand

Feb. 11: Brock vs. Western, 7:30 p.m.; Feb. 12: Guelph vs. Western, 4 p.m.

LONDON, Ont. - The Western Mustangs women's hockey team will honour their seniors this weekend as they face Brock and Guelph this weekend. The Mustangs face Brock on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and will celebrate Senior Night on their final home game of the year against Guelph on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 4 p.m.

The Mustangs have six seniors they will honour on Saturday night including captain and FISU member Ellie Seedhouse and goaltender Jessica Ulrich. Seedhouse finished tied for the team league with 10 goals on the season. Ulrich had one shutout on the season and a solid .900 save percentage.

Forwards Taryn Brown, Brittany Buck, rightwing Holly Ouellette and defender Kailey Hooker are the other seniors being celebrated for their contributions.

Buck had two goals and was tied for a team-high with 10 assists on the season. Brown had one goal and one assist on the year, while Ouelette added two assists in just 6 games. Hooker had one assist as she was solid on the blue-line this season.

Brock and Guelph are battling for playoff positions as Western looks to play the spoiler this weekend. Brock is 21-4-0 for second place in the OUA, while Guelph is 15-7-3 with a slim hold on third place.
