Game Preview: Western on the road vs. Windsor on Saturday afternoon

After last week's 3-2 victory over Nipissing Lakers, the Western Mustangs women's hockey team holds 5-1 regular season record and sit in second place in the OUA after six games. The Mustangs continue regular season action as they travel to Windsor to play against the Lancers.

The Mustangs have been establishing themselves as strong competition this season and one of the players that has been leading the way is third-year goaltender Kelly Campbell, who ranks third in the OUA with a .951 save percentage. Leading the offensive attack are second-year forwards Marlowe Pecora (three goals and three assists) and Cassidy Gosling (five assists), and senior forward Carly Rolph (two goals and three assists)

Western at Windsor – Saturday, October 26 at 4:00 PM

The Lancers come into Saturday's game on an impressive three-game winning streak that's moved the team into sixth place in the OUA standings with a 3-2-1 record. Rookie goaltender Marissa Kozovski has been a key piece of Windsor's winning streak, picking up each of the team's three wins including her first career OUA shutout last weekend against Nipissing. Joining her are Windsor's top scorers in senior forwards Jenny MacKnight (five goals, six assists), Bree Polci (five goals four assists), and Candace Kourounis (two goals, five assists).
Puck drop is set for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26 at South Windsor Arena.
