As the Mustangs head into a pair of weekend games against the University of Toronto Varsity Blues on Friday and the Ryerson Rams on Saturday they will be looking to capture their first win of the season as they sit 0-4 in the regular season after facing some of the top teams in Canada, including the CIS No. 1 Carleton Ravens and No. 3 Ottawa Gee-Gees.

The Mustangs will be looking for a win on the road as they prepare for this weekend's games in Toronto when OUA basketball action continues.

The Varsity Blues basketball team is currently 1-2 in the regular season and are ranked sixth in the OUA East division standings. The Toronto squad will be looking to post their second win of the season with the help of Alex Hill, a senior guard ranked currently second in the CIS in scoring with an average of 26 points per game. The Varsity Blues have averaged 88 points per game to sit fourth in the CIS leaderboard so far this season.

Western vs. Ryerson - Saturday, November 16 at 8:00 PM
The Rams are currently on a two-game win streak after defeating Laurier and Waterloo to improve their record to 3-1 and earn a position in the CIS Top 10 rankings as they come in at number six. The Mustangs offence will be kept occupied with the Ram's defence as they are currently ranked seventh in the CIS for points allowed per game (64.5). Leading scorer Jahmal Jones is averaging 15 points per game on the season, followed by Kadeem Green with 14.5 points per game and a 50% field goal percentage.
