The Western men's volleyball team has continued to climb the OUA standings to now find themselves in a tie for second with an 11-3 regular season record. With 22 points on the season the Mustangs join Waterloo behind the undefeated McMaster Marauders who boast 28 points and a perfect 14-0 record. As they head into a pair of weekend games in Toronto against the Ryerson Rams and the Toronto Varsity Blues, the Mustangs will be looking to continue their three-game win streak that includes wins over RMC and Queen's last weekend.
It will be the Western squad's second time meeting both teams in this year's regular season after defeating the Varsity Blues 3-0 in mid-November but falling 3-2 to the Rams a day later. With just six regular season games left the Mustangs will be looking to break out of their tie for second and secure a place beside Waterloo in the playoffs.

Western vs. Ryerson – Saturday, January 25 at 2 PM
The fifth-place Ryerson Rams are 9-5 on the season and head into this weekend's matchup after their 3-1 loss to McMaster last week and will be looking to boost themselves in the standings with a win over the Mustangs.
Leading the Rams is Robert Wojcik, who records an average of 4.49 points per set and ranks fourth among the top OUA scorers. Wojcik has been the go-to hitter for the Rams as no other Ryerson players break the top 20 so far this season. In the Rams' early-season win against the Mustangs Wojcik played a crucial part, recording 22.5 points on the day to beat Western's top scorer in the contest,
Derek Kuiack, by over five points.
Western vs. Toronto – Sunday, January 26 at 2 PM
The Varsity Blues will also be entering the weekend after a decisive 3-0 loss at the hands of the Marauders and currently sit in ninth place with a 4-10 record. The team will be looking to end their current four-game losing streak when the face the Mustangs this weekend.
The Blues are led by William Colucci with an average of 3.58 points per set to sit in seventh on the OUA leaderboard and have on other player to crack the OUA top 20 in Jake Dysselhof with 2.78 points per set.
