After last weekend's losses against Nipissing and York, the Mustangs return to the court on November 28 and 29 in Toronto to face off against Ryerson and University of Toronto.
The Mustangs look to this weekend to to get back on the winning track in their final games before the holiday break. After a strong start and an early four game winning streak, they've struggled to maintain a high level of play at times and are currently working to break out of their four game losing streak.

As a team, the Mustangs average 12.56 kills per set, with a hitting percentage of .274, while recording an average of two blocks and 8.38 digs per set.
Justin Scapinello continues to top the Mustang scoresheet, averaging 5.5 points per set, and 4.84 kills per set with a .277 hitting percentage. Following Scapinello are

Chris Newcombe with averages of 2.9 and 2.5 points per set.

Currently sitting at third in the OUA, Ryerson looks to Friday's match against Western to advance their record and make up for last week's loss to the first place Marauders.

With a 6-3 record, the Rams average 11.85 kills per set, with a .246 hitting percentage, 2.45 blocks per set, and 8.30 digs per set. Â

Individually, the Rams have proven to be strong with five players currently sitting within the top ten on the CIS leaderboard. Sophmore Lucas Coleman sits in seventh for kills per set (3.89) while also leading the Rams in points per set (4.5), Robert Wojcik ranks in at fifth in service aces per set (0.48) and second year libero Will Otten takes third in digs per set (2.82). Veteran Ram Marc Reardon leads the CIS in solo blocks (20), with Ofoha Uchenna trailing slightly in fourth (17).Â

With a 2-7 record and three game losing streak the Varsity Blues look to Saturday's game to turn their season around.

The Blues, sitting in ninth place in the OUA, average 11.50 kills per set with a .192 hitting percentage, 1.36 blocks per set, and 9.58 digs per set.

Veterans Kyle Fick and Jake Dysselhof share the position at the top of the Blues' scoresheet, both averaging 3.1 points per set, while fifth year Michael Denton currently sits at tenth in the CIS in assists per set.
