HAMILTON, Ont. – The Western Mustangs women's soccer team continued their successful Homecoming Weekend, recording their second win in three days after defeating the McMaster Marauders 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Â
With this weekend's victories the Mustangs now sit at 8-1-0 on the season, good for second place in the OUA West Division. McMaster's regular season record now drops to 3-4-0.
Â
Amanda Boyle opened up the scoring for the Mustangs, netting a goal just 15 minutes into the first half. Her second goal of the weekend brings Boyle to second place on the OUA leaderboard with 13 goals on the year.
