The Mustangs dominated their first game of the season against the Laurier Goldenhawks, posting an impressive 19-7 victory. Senior player Snider led the team in points with a total of four goals and three assists, followed by
Sheehan Mulholland with two goals and two assists and
Michelle Farrugia,
Hayley Liske, and
Lauren Stewart, who each had a hat-trick

Megan Wilkins also contributed to the Mustangs success, as they capped offÂ
the first half with a 13-5 lead,Â
The following afternoon, the Mustangs were once more victorious against the Guelph Gryphons, defeating them 17-4. Once again, the purple and white saw a contributions from a variety of players, with nine names on the score sheet. Farrugia and Snider, 2014 OUA First-Team All-Stars, led the team, posting three goals and an assist and four goals and two assists, respectively.

The Mustangs will seek to continue their winning streak which dates back to the 2010 OUA season next weekend in a double header Sunday, September 27 in Peterborough, Ont. against Trent at 9:45 A.M. and York University at 3:00 P.M.
