London, ON - As the Mustangs tip off the 2019-20 season, there will be added importance to the game on Saturday, October 26 as it will be the annual Shoot for the Cure game.
The game is a fundraising initiative to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society and other related local and provincial charities and is fixture across the country as all 47 U SPORTS schools with women's basketball programs participate.
Now in it's 13th year, the initiative has raised over $1.25 million in donations to date.
This year the Mustangs will take on Waterloo in the game at Alumni Hall at 6pm.
Student admission is free with the presentation your Western ONECard at the box office.
