London, ON - The Mustangs and Algoma Thunderbirds finished their back to back meetings at Alumni Hall with a 90-52 Western win.
Before the game, Mustangs alumni and purple blanket recipient Greg Morrow presented 5

The Mustangs came out with plenty of offensive pressure, outscoring Algoma 27-11 in the opening frame.
"We got up to a bit a larger lead today and we played more guys today which was great," said Mustangs Head Coach Brad Campbell "I wanted to throw a few more things in because they're plays and setups because it's things we're going to have to do later in the year and we need some experience with that,"
The 2
nd quarter saw 3
rd year forward Aryan Sharma who dropped 13 points alone to extend the Mustangs lead to 56-24.
Algoma made a push in the 3
rd quarter when they outscored the Mustang 19-14 but Western would return to form in the 4

3

"It felt good to get things rolling, I honestly didn't even know I had a double-double I was just focussing on rebounds tonight," said Tennant.
The Mustangs now wait almost two weeks until their next game.
"It is what it is, I probably would have rathered to play this coming weekend to be honest because we've had so few games already," said Campbell "But it's an opportunity to watch the game film and learn from this weekend and find ways to get better."
Western will host Waterloo on November 19
th for a 4pm start at Alumni Hall. Tickets are available at westernmustangs.ca/tickets.
