Welland, ON - A week after the OUA Championship the Mustangs were back in Welland, this time for the Canadian University Rowing Championships.
Western came away with two gold medals in lightweight 2x and lightweight 4+. Overall the women's team finished in 3rd place while the Men's team finished in 5th.
"It was great to get back to competing for national championships after a year off." said Mustangs Women's Head Coach Matthew Waddell "Our varsity team is very young, so I'm happy that they got to see the level of competition and get motivated for the hard training to come this winter.
