Just over halfway through the third, Brock's Sims scored a nice goal in the slot to put the Badgers up 3-0 with less than 10 minutes to go. And not long after Brock's Burnie was able to notch his second goal of the game from a tough angle shot that squeaked in, putting their lead to 4-0.
Western came on strong at the end with some good chances and a strong offensive push due to a late powerplay in the last two minutes of the third, but weren't able to break Badgers Peccia's shutout, who helped secure the Badgers a 4-0 win.
