Halifax, NS - The Western Cross Country teams came in a respectable 4th place for women at 104 points and 7th place for men with 206 points at the U Sports Cross County Championship on November 12.
The first of our Mustangs to cross the finish line were Sophie Coutts, who finished individually in 7th place at 29:14 for women, and Marcel Scheele, who finished individually for men in 19th place at 25:24.
Sophie Coutts' received 1st team All Canadian Award and with Erica Jordan's 13th place finish she received the 2nd team All Canadian Award.
Even with winter starting to creep in, Western gave their all in their final meet of the season.
