London, ON - Your Mustangs Athletes of the Week powered by Stay Above Nutrition are Laura Soper from Ringette & Dylan Deverill and Griffin Manley from Men's Squash.

Soper was the leading point scorer at the 2023 Ringette Ontario Provincial Championship that the Mustangs won this past weekend. Western beat Brock 5-3 in the gold medal game in which Soper had a goal and assist. Overall she finished the tournament with 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points.

Deverill and Manley achieved something that hasn't been done in recent memory, winning the 2023 U.S. Intercollegiate Doubles Championship. They beat some of the best in North America including Fordham, Rochester, Brown, and Navy.
